Heffco is the only subterraneal leak detection contractor with the International Union of Operating Engineers. We service union & non union clients throughout the U.S. Leak detection services are performed using multiple customized tools to accurately pinpoint your underground issues. We have gained the majority of our experience finding leaks on steam lines, which the vast majority of the other companies won't even attempt to locate because of the extreme noise associated with steam flow. It is because of this experience & our God given talents, that we have developed our specialized techniques & have a conservative accuracy rating of 98%. This rate is based on pinpointing the leak for the center of your excavation! You can rest assured that when Heffco marks out your leak, it will be within inches, not yards of our mark. Heffco has been accurately locating leaks since 1982, on everything from 1/2 inch all the way up to 60 inch mains in almost every kind of condition.

The majority of our services are performed for Commercial, Industrial, & Municipal customers. Heffco has located leaks for residential customers, which is usually a referral from our municipal customers or from insurance companies for insurance restoration claims for hidden slab leaks & flooding.

What you can expect from us
The first thing that must be accomplished is to accurately trace the line that is leaking.
Once this is completed, we can begin to locate your leak using various custom & specialized pieces of equipment. This can take a bit of time, but, a tremendously high degree of accuracy is the end result, in other words, it will save you money in the long run.
Once your leak has been pinpointed, Heffco can advise you of your options using our vast experience with welded & mechanical pipe on what the best solution is to your issue.
Safety
Safety is always a top priority. Heffco never performs any excavations without first notifying OUPS { Ohio Utility Protection Service } as required by Ohio Law & all excavations are properly shored. Be sure to view our Safety Page for more detailed information.
